Dimbleby backs Royal output
Jonathan Dimbleby has rejected Jeremy Paxman's claim that the BBC is "fawning" towards the Royal Family.
Dimbleby, 64, who once made a TV documentary about his friend Prince Charles, said: "I don't think the BBC fawns and I think it gets the balance broadly right. It's an important job to scrutinise the monarchy.
"It treats the monarchy as it treats any other institution."
