Ex-BBC drama chief dies
Former BBC drama boss Mark Shivas whose credits range from Alan Bennett's Talking Heads to Dennis Potter's Casanova, has died aged 70.
Shiva oversaw BBC drama from 1988 to 1993 and produced The Six Wives Of Henry VIII in the '70s and major works by Jack Rosenthal, David Hare and Harold Pinter.
He also commissioned Anthony Minghella's Truly, Madly, Deeply.
