X Factor rejects lash Louis
X Factor rejects Bad Lashes have rapped their mentor Louis Walsh for paying more attention to boyband JLS.
The female quartet were the first act to be booted off the ITV1 talent show on Saturday and they claimed that Walsh doesn't know how to manage girlbands.
Emily McNamee said: "Louis said 'I know how boybands work. I've done it with Westlife.' He managed Girls Aloud for a while but said he wasn't very good."
Bad Lashes say they'd rather have had Cheryl Cole as a mentor instead of Louis Walsh.
Stacey Lincoln said: "Louis told us to listen to Cheryl, so she was kind of helping us and being a mentor a little bit. Maybe if we'd had Cheryl it could have been different."
ASked if Walsh spent more time with JLS, Emily added: "A little bit. He loves boy groups, that's his thing."
Louis Walsh insists that he did his best to help Bad Lashes.
They lost in the public vote against GirlBand, another of Walsh's groups. He told The Sun: "I tried to do something different with them, but even if I'd got them doing Riverdance backwards it wouldn't have helped.
"I don't know why, but girlbands don't do well on the show. I want to help Bad Lashes, let's see what happens."
