Former Shameless actor Chris Coghill will play the chilling role of Bianca's partner Tony King in EastEnders.

Tony will be involved in a hard-hitting sexual abuse storyline with Bianca's 15-year-old "daughter", Whitney, after he is released from prison.

Chris, 34, said: "This is the most challenging role I have had to play. But I hope tackling the sensitive issue of child abuse can raise awareness."
