Monfils defeats Gonzalez
Eighth seed Gael Monfils reached his fourth semi-final of the season at the Bank Austria trophy after knocking out second seed Fernando Gonzalez.
The Frenchman took the first set 6-3 but failed to serve for the match at 6-5 in the second set before easing through the tie-break 7-2.
German Philipp Kohlschreiber claimed the scalp of fifth seed Fernando Verdasco with a 6-2 6-3 victory,
