In-form Jankovic triumphs
Top seed Jelena Jankovic clinched her third title in a row with a convincing victory over Vera Zvonareva in the final of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow.
The newly-crowned world No 1 followed up her triumphs in Beijing and Stuttgart with a 6-2 6-4 win against Russian seventh seed Zvonareva.
Jankovic was in dominant form as she broke her opponent five times to win the eighth title of her career.
Kunitsyn nets first title
Igor Kunitsyn continued his dream run in Moscow by beating compatriot Marat Safin in front of his home crowd in the Kremlin Cup to win his first title.
The 27-year-old was playing in his first Tour final but he kept his composure to take the first-set tie- break 8-6 against the seventh seed.
Safin won the next tie-break 7-4 to level the match but Kunitsyn broke once in the decider to seal a 6-3 win.
