De Villiers to leave ATP
Etienne de Villiers, executive chairman and president of the ATP, has announced that he will be stepping down at the end of the 2008 season.
De Villiers, who has been executive chairman of the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuit since 2005, has overseen changes to the game that will lead to big investment.
The changes will see an estimated $1bn being pumped into the ATP tour.
