Roddick out in Toronto
Andy Roddick suffered a third-round upset at the Rogers Cup in Toronto as he was dumped out in three sets by unseeded Croatian Marin Cilic.
The American, seeded sixth, was broken twice as he lost the first set 6-4 but took the second in identical style.
But Cilic was not to be denied and converted the third set's only break point to win 6-4 4-6 6-4 and set up a quarter-final against Gilles Simon.
Djokovic into quarters
World No 3 Novak Djokovic advanced to the quarter-finals of the Rogers Cup in Toronto with a routine victory against big-serving Swede Robin Soderling.
The third-seeded Serbian saved all four of the break points he faced, and broke his opponent once in both sets as he recorded a 6-4 6-4 win in 78 minutes.
Djokovic will face Andy Murray after the Scot's topsy-turvy third-round win over Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka.
