Nalbandian lifts crown
Top seed David Nalbandian made hard work of defeating Robin Soderling in the final of the Stockholm Open as he claimed his ninth Tour title.
The Argentinian raced through the first set 6-2 and looked set for an easy win as he broke early in the second but the Swede hit back to take the set 7-5.
Nalbandian regained his composure to take the third 6-3 and boost his slim hopes of making the Masters Cup.
Petzschner stuns Monfils
German qualifier Phillip Petzschner sprang a shock in the final of the Bank Austria Trophy after beating eighth seed Gael Monfils in Vienna.
The 24-year-old, who entered this event with just four wins on the Tour this year, broke Monfils three times in the match as he earned a 6-4 6-4 triumph.
Petzschner started the week at world No 125 but after winning his first title he will break into the top 100.
