New police support launched

The British Transport Police's DeafLink scheme is now up and running across the country.

The aim is to make it easier for deaf and hard of hearing people to report crime and receive advice. Officers are taught communication tactics, including some British Sign Language.

To get the services of a DeafLink officer, ring 0800 404040 (tel) or email Deaf-Link@btp.pnn.police.uk
