How believable is it that an F1 driver like Massa, a contender for the drivers' championship, would deliberately run into another driver and risk putting himself out of the race and, maybe, destroy his championship dream? I don't buy it. Henry, Grantham
The stewards gave the correct decision for the incident at turn one, but if you watch carefully, they penalised the wrong McLaren driver. Michael, Newport
Stop slating Lewis and give him the support he deserves. He's top of his game and mistakes can be made. The FIA need to stop giving penalties that help Massa. Dave, Derby
A great result all round in Japan. Well done Fernando. Kate, Weymouth
Congratulations to Jelena Jankovic for winning three titles on the bounce, well done. Rob, Leicester
Re: Tom, Durham. So rugby league was developed for folk not bright enough to understand the rules you say? I'm sorry, I didn't realise you needed a masters degree to catch a ball from a line-out?
A friend of mine who has played both codes once said he could breeze through a game of union but after 20 minutes of playing league felt like he'd been hit by a truck. Martin, Lancs
Once again the stewards have favoured Ferrari. Surprise, surprise. Ted, E12
Good race at Fuji, but why did Bourdais get penalised? He was racing for position and he had the line. Ferrari International Assistance strike again. Tony, Oldham
The best three drivers in F1 were on the podium in Fuji and none of them will win the title. That sums this year up in a nutshell. Kenny, Dundee
Re: Fred, DE75. If Massa and Raikkonen had not gone off the track, Hamilton would have taken them and his team-mate off so he deserved what he got. He is reckless and does not deserve to be a champion. Come on Alonso. Emma, Hull
One of my heroes, Richard Burns, died of a tumour and I hope Seve has better luck. Howard, Bury
Re: Darren, Pulb'gh. Serena does acknowledge her opponents, but the media like to cast her and Venus as nasty people. You've been duped. Yasmina, London
It's a shame Justine Henin has retired because she was the one player who used to put the fear of God into Serena Williams. Phil, Skegness
Yet again we see Hamilton punished (fairly) for a dangerous move, and surprise, surprise, a Ferrari commits an equally dodgy move and the other guy (Bourdais) gets penalised.
The same as last year, the powers that be are going to do whatever it takes to stop Lewis winning. After being an F1 fan for 35 years, I'm switching off. Clarke, Kings Lynn
Re: Kevin, Glasgow. Steffi Graf wouldn't have won half the Grand Slams she did if the true legend Monica Seles hadn't got stabbed. Jamie, Wales
Re: Shaun, March. Laura Robson was lucky to win at Wimbledon, she did not deserve to. She is lazy like all British athletes. Clare, M40
I hope history is not repeating itself. Come on Lewis, you can do it. Stay focused. Good luck. Annmarie, Edgware
Re: Tom, Durham. What's hard to learn about rugby union? If you're overweight and like mud-rolling, know how to kick a ball 20m, enjoy spinal damage and receiving studmarks on your chest, then you're laughing all the way to Twickenham. Dave, Wigan
Unbelievable that Bourdais got penalised. He gave Massa enough room and he (Massa) made a mistake into the corner. No penalty should have been given there. Kris, Ferryhill
