SNOOKER: Higgins see off Hendry
Scotland's John Higgins is through to the quarter-finals of the Royal London Watches Grand Prix after overcoming compatriot Stephen Hendry in Glasgow.
The Wishaw player edged into a 2-1 lead after a scrappy opening but breaks of 127 and 75 saw him open up a 4-1 lead and he held his nerve to win 5-2.
Higgins said: "I just managed to get over the winning line, but the quality wasn't what it should have been."
