BOXING: Khan backs Brit Olympians
Commonwealth lightweight champion Amir Khan believes the British Olympic team have what it takes to bring home eight medals from the Games in Beijing.
Eight boxers will represent Britain in China, and Khan - who won silver in Athens four years ago - believes they all have a great chance.
He said: "Every one of these boys is a great fighter. They are all capable and all they have to do is stay focused."
Mitchell eyes new route
Dagenham fighter Kevin Mitchell says a WBO super-featherweight title win for best friend Nicky Cook will not put his own championship ambitions on hold.
If Cook beats Alex Arthur on September 6, it will shut the door on Mitchell's chances as they share the same trainer.
If this happens Mitchell could go after IBF champion Cassius Baloyi, saying: "I'm highly rated with the IBF as well as the WBO, so I've got two options."
