Zimbabwe set to be banned
The Government are to take action to ensure Zimbabwe are banned from playing cricket in England next year.
A letter from culture secretary Andy Burnham making clear the Government's stance will be handed to the ECB at Lord's this morning, while he will also issue a statement later today.
The Government is seeking to bar Zimbabwe from next summer's ODIs and the Twenty20 World Cup in this country.
Legend Flower in mourning
Legend Andy Flower is prepared to mourn the death of Zimbabwe cricket thanks to "Robert Mugabe's despicable clan".
The 40-year-old visualises a long haul back if, as anticipated, Zimbabwe are banished by the ICC next week.
Flower said: "The people in charge are part of Mugabe's supporters. It's sad - so many people gave up so much time and energy to get us into international cricket in the first place."
