N Zealand 39 Australia 10
Braces from Tony Woodcock and Ma'a Nonu helped the All Blacks to a resounding victory in the Tri-Nations Bledisloe Cup tie at Eden Park in Auckland.
Prop Woodcock's double and 13 points from Dan Carter's boot gave the hosts a 21-10 half-time lead, Adam Ashley- Cooper touching down for the Wallabies.
Nonu crossed twice after the break and Carter kicked two penalties as the All Blacks avenged last weekend's loss.
McCaw hails tight five
New Zealand captain Richie McCaw praised the efforts of his tight five after Saturday's emphatic 39-10 victory against Australia at Eden Park.
McCaw, who was back in the side after a six-week lay-off, felt the effort up front allowed the All Blacks to build pressure at the right end of the field.
He said: "The tight five especially had a hell of a big game and Australia never got any front-foot ball."
Mortlock: Wallabies down
Stirling Mortlock admitted the Australian dressing room was a quiet place after their drubbling by the All Blacks but vowed to bounce back.
The centre, who returned after missing last weekend's match because of concussion, was powerless to prevent New Zealand romping to a 39-10 win.
He said: "The harder we tried the more we seemed to dig ourselves a bigger hole. We'll lick our wounds."
