No deal for Rochemback
Middlesbrough have confirmed midfielder Fabio Rochemback will not be offered a new contract by the Riverside outfit.
The Brazilian joined the club in 2005 from Barcelona, but will follow released duo Gaizka Mendieta and Dong Gook Lee out of the door when his three-year deal runs out on June 30.
Boss Gareth Southgate said: "We feel that the time is right for Fabio to have a fresh challenge."
Schwarzer in Boro talks
Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that the club are in talks with goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer over a new contract at the Riverside Stadium.
The Australia international, whose current deal expires at the end of June, is thought to want to extend his stay at the club, where he has held the No 1 spot since his arrival in 1997.
Southgate told the Gazette: "Yes, we are currently in talks with Mark."
