Cisse and Healy sign

Sunderland have completed the signings of Djibril Cisse and David Healy.

Former Liverpool striker Cisse joins the Black Cats on a season-long loan from Marseille, with a view to making the switch permanent.

Northern Ireland international Healy has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at Fulham and has passed a medical so he can complete his move for an undisclosed fee.

Keane backing Healy

Sunderland manager Roy Keane has hailed David Healy's finishing ability after the striker completed his move from Fulham to the Black Cats.

The Northern Ireland forward was the leading scorer in qualification for Euro 2008, and appeared in Wednesday's friendly draw with Scotland.

Keane said: "He scored a few goals forFulham and he is another signing who will increase competition for places."

Davis completes switch

Rangers have confirmed the signing of Fulham midfielder Steven Davis on a four-year contract.

Davis, who did not play in Fulham's opening Premier League game at Hull, could make his second debut for the Gers in Saturday's game at Aberdeen.

The Glasgow club will hope the recent spending spree will help appease fans angered by the £7.8m sale to Aston Villa of star defender Carlos Cuellar.

Boss denies Bullard talk

Roy Hodgson may have let Steven Davis and David Healy leave but the Fulham manager is bemused by continued talk over Jimmy Bullard's future.

Davis has joined Rangers, while Healy was in Sunderland for a medical, but he is far more reluctant to allow star midfielder Bullard to leave.

He said: "I find it strange that Jimmy is being linked with moves in the press when no clubs are making bids for him."
