Sale v Montauban

Andrew Sheridan has returned from international duty with England but only makes the bench for the Heineken Cup clash against Montauban.

Matthew Tait has been undergoing treatment on a dead leg and is a replacement, with Andy Tuilagi taking his place at outside centre.

Dwayne Peel starts at scrum-half alongside Charlie Hodgson, with Richard Wigglesworth among the substitutes.

Edinburgh v Wasps

Wasps boss Ian McGeechan makes eight changes and two positional switches as his international players return.

Prop Phil Vickery leads the team, with Raphael Ibanez (head) ruled out. Centre Dominic Waldouck is in the starting XV having beaten a knee ligament injury.

Edinburgh are looking to repeat their 32-31 victory over the Wycombe club at Murrayfield in 2005, when wing Simon Webster scored the decisive try.

Ulster v Scarlets

Scotland cap Simon Danielli starts on the wing for Ulster in place of Fiji star Timoci Nagusa, who has been ruled out by a hamstring injury.

Andrew Trimble is back in the XV, and plays on the other wing for Mark McCrea, who drops to the bench.

Scarlets include six returning Wales stars, including four who helped beat Australia last weekend, as they seek a win to keep alive their Euro hopes.

Blues v Biarritz

Wales internationals Leigh Halfpenny, Tom Shanklin, Andy Powell, Martyn Williams and Gethin Jenkins all return to the starting XV for Blues.

Coach David Young names fellow Wales caps Robin Sowden Taylor and Tom James on the Cardiff-based region's bench.

Young said: "They are all coming back battered, bruised and certainly mentally and physically drained. But they all desperately want to play."
