Wilko eyes Nations place
England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson has refused to rule out a return to action during the forthcoming RBS 6 Nations.
The Newcastle ace has suffered a string of serious injuries since his winning kick in the 2003 World Cup final, the latest being a dislocated knee he sustained at the end of September.
But Wilkinson told BBC Radio Five Live: "I'd like to think I could come back. I hope so - I'm always positive."
We must move on - Vickery
Phil Vickery has vowed to give England fans something to cheer after the lamentable autumn internationals.
Australia, South Africa and New Zealand all won with ease at Twickenham, but the prop promised better times ahead.
With an eye on the 2009 RBS 6 Nations, Vickery told www.rfu.com: "It's harsh lessons for us, but it's something we've got to accept, deal with and more on from - and move on quickly."
Time to perform - Dally
Ex-skipper Lawrence Dallaglio believes England's painful and prolonged autumn struggle should inspire international players to perform for their clubs.
The next few days sees the bruised and battered caps feature in what will be demanding Heineken Cup clashes.
Former lock Dallaglio said: "Every position is up for grabs, come the Six Nations. Every player must go back to his club and take a look at himself."
Dally: Medals before cash
Lawrence Dallaglio has urged Danny Cipriani to put medals before money as he considers whether to sign a new contract with Wasps.
Cipriani, 21, and England colleague James Haskell are among a number of players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season.
Dallaglio said: "Despite our league position, this is still one of the very best places to win trophies."
