Aussies to bid for 2013
Australia will put together a rival bid to host the 2013 World Cup, which is set to be expanded to 12 teams.
England remain favourites to stage the next tournament but the Australians are ready to throw their hat into the ring again after announcing profits of more than £2m for the current event.
RLIF chairman Colin Love said: "The International Federation will look at both bids and make a decision."
