BAE Systems jobs face axe
BAE Systems has announced the loss of up to 200 jobs in its land systems business, affecting a Leeds factory.
The firm blamed the cuts on a decline in work on the MoD's Armoured Fighting Vehicle programmes, and a voluntary redundancy scheme is being launched.
Managing director David Allott said: "We aim to mitigate the impact of cuts by re-skilling and retraining people."
