DNA samples could be removed
Nearly a million innocent people could have their records removed from the national DNA database after two Sheffield men challenged the law.
The European Court of Human Rights severely criticised police powers to take and hold samples from suspects even if they are released or cleared.
Michael Marper, 45, and a 19-year-old named as "S" overturned their cases.
