£80m for low carbon project
Research into low carbon emission transport in the West Midlands has been given an £80m boost under a new scheme.
Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands is working with Jaguar Land Rover to create a low carbon vehicle development and proving centre.
The development agency has contributed £30m with £50m from Jaguar Land Rover to encourage work on low-carbon cars.
