JCB to help redundant workers

Staffordshire-based excavator firm JCB is to host two job fairs to help employees made redundant following the downturn in the construction sector.

The events will bring together recruitment agencies from across Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire.

The group said large numbers of companies have vacancies suitable for workers affected by recent job cuts.
