£1m flat breaks price record
A penthouse flat has defied the credit crunch to become the first in Birmingham to sell for £1m.
The three-bedroomed property, at the apex of the 26-storey Orion Building in the city centre, was designed by John Rocha and offers spectacular views.
Crosby Lend Lease said the sale, to a businessman in his 30s, was a "huge coup" for the area.
