'Diamond' ring found in field
A Hinckley man has found what could be a precious jewel-encrusted gold ring of a medieval nobleman.
John Stevens, 42, was metal detecting in a field when he found the ring, which may contain a rare black diamond and date from 14th century.
Antiques expert Brett Hammond said: "It's one of the best ones I have seen for a very long time."
