NHS handed £50,000 for scheme
NHS Plymouth is to receive £50,000 to improve breast screening rates among minority ethnic and lesbian groups.
Care services minister Phil Hope said the city is among 18 trusts to get cash as part of the £5.5m Pacesetter plan to help groups discriminated against.
The money will be used to set up four projects in Plymouth for screening and data collection on minority groups.
