Water firm handed sewage fine
South West Water must pay £11,875 after sewage overflowed from a North Devon pumping station into the River Taw.
The Environment Agency prosecuted after visiting the Landkey Pumping Station near Barnstable last August.
Before Barnstaple magistrates, South West Water admitted two offences of discharging sewage effluent into a water supply.
