Thief jailed for trip stunt
A Torquay safe raider who flew to Las Vegas to play poker when he should have been doing unpaid work ordered by a court has been jailed for three months.
Scott Henry, 23, was given a community order with 140 hours' unpaid work after admitting a raid on a nightclub.
When he was called to find out why he had not turned up, his mother said he was away, Exeter Crown Court heard.
