Cyclist hurt in crash

A 61-year-old cyclist has been badly injured in a road traffic collision in St Agnes, Cornwall.

Police are investigating the accident, which involved a silver battery-powered pedal cycle and an Initial City Link delivery van.

The cyclist sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

Re J C (01/07) and five-year licences for teachers. Why is it that attempts to improve the education system always highlight teachers as the problem, whereas in the NHS doctors and nurses are not seen as the problem but as the answer?
