Assembly seeks assurances
Senior officials will have to show the Assembly "robust arrangements" are in place to protect vulnerable children after Baby P's death, it was announced.
Government chiefs are writing to local authority social services and those in charge of children's services.
Deputy social services minister Gwenda Thomas said she wants assurances that everyone is clear about their duties.
