An expert has called for a nationwide alert to warn of the dangers of beach dunes after a Wrexham schoolboy died when tons of sand collapsed on him.
Craig Owen, 16, from Brymbo, died when the huge dune fell in as he tunnelled on Cefn Sidan beach in Pembrey.
At an inquest in Llanelli, South Wales, coroner John Owen recorded a verdict of accidental death.
