Union calls for tax cuts
Trade union bosses in Wales have called for tax cuts for low and middle earners to help families feeling the pinch.
They made the plea after meeting First Minister Rhodri Morgan in Cardiff to discuss the credit crunch.
TUC general secretary Martin Mansfield said: "Countering unemployment and responding to the economic crises must be public policy priority number one."
