£1.8m bid to cut sewer floods
A £1.8m sewer flooding relief system is being installed to protect homes in Peregrine Close in Swindon.
The Thames Water scheme includes building a small pumping station and will reduce the risk of sewer flooding at 12 properties.
A Thames Water spokesman said: "Sewer flooding is an unpleasant and distressing experience."
