Pool safety jury discharged
A jury trying the owner of a South Wales swimming pool where a Birmingham boy nearly drowned has been discharged after failing to reach a verdict.
The owner of Trecco Bay caravan park in Porthcawl, South Wales, denied failing to ensure Chad Mole, seven, of Halesowen, was not exposed to risks.
Prosecutors asked Cardiff Crown Court for 14 days to consider a retrial.
