A University of Bath student hanged himself after an alcohol-fuelled pub crawl, an inquest has heard.

Gethin Bevan was found hanging from a tree in the city after attending a night held by promoters Carnage UK.

Post-mortem tests revealed the biology student was more than twice the legal alcohol limit. Avon coroner Terence Moore recorded an open verdict.
