A girl was shot with an air rifle by another pupil at a Gloucestershire primary school, a headteacher has said.

The shooting happened at Berry Hill Primary School, near Coleford. The gunman, a boy in year five, has now been excluded.

His nine-year-old victim was shot through the leg with the air gun and was not seriously hurt.
