Elderly pair seriously hurt
A head-on collision on the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway, has left two elderly people seriously injured.
A car and a people carrier, which had seven people inside, were involved in the crash near Gretna.
The two elderly people had to be cut free from the car's wreckage, as did six of the seven occupants of the other vehicle. The road was closed by police.
