Work on art gallery to begin
Work to build the Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate is finally due begin next week, with a ceremony to mark the occasion held on Tuesday.
Some 30 schoolchildren will help erect a specially-commissioned 15ft-high piece of artwork of mirrored lettering, spelling: "The sun is God."
The quotation from artist JMW Turner inspired the creation of the gallery.
