Porridge perfection at event
Cooking enthusiasts have battled to be named the World Porridge Making Champion at a competition in an Inverness-shire village.
Local man Ian Bishop, from Carrbridge, took the Golden Spurtle trophy after a cook-off at Carrbridge Village Hall.
The speciality porridge category was won by Andy Daggert, of Craigellachie, who impressed with a marzipan recipe.
