Scott enters leadership race

Former transport minister Tavish Scott, the MSP for Shetland, has entered the race for the Scots Lib Dem leadership.

Mr Scott made his announcement after Ross Finnie, the West of Scotland MSP, declared his intention to stand.

"I want to energise our party with new thinking and a fresh approach that speaks to the needs and concerns of Scotland," Mr Scott said.
