Kenny hits out over pay deal
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has called for the national pay deal to be axed, claiming the Republic cannot afford it.
In an attack on the government, the Mayo TD told his national conference in Wexford the Fianna Fail-Green partnership is stale and arrogant.
Mr Kenny said the deal, which provides for a pay rise of 6% over 21 months, should be put on hold for a year.
