Woman rescued from fire

A 20-year-old woman has been rescued from a house fire in Dungiven which left the property seriously damaged.

The blaze was started by accident in the kitchen and the trapped female was lifted to safety by firefighters through an upstairs window.

  • Another woman was saved from a fire in the bedroom of her Lisburn home after neighbours raised the alarm.
