Ambulance plan attacked
TUESDAY A "money-saving exercise" over ambulance provision may be putting lives at risk, a DUP MLA warned.
Tom Buchanan said new rapid response vehicles working in tandem with ambulances cannot move patients, which leaves the severely ill vulnerable.
Health minister Michael McGimpsey said rapid response vehicles are in addition to ambulances in serious cases.
