Customer foils armed raid
A brave Belfast customer has foiled an attempted armed robbery at a shop after punching a raider in the face.
Police believe two robbers, one armed with a handgun, held up a filling station on Clifton Street and stole cash before attempting a second attack.
In both attacks they threatened staff at gunpoint but in the second incident a customer confronted the pair.
