Hunt after bid to abduct girl
Police are hunting a man who tried to abduct a young girl as she walked along a road in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The 12-year-old was walking on Chamber Road when a man grabbed her and tried to drag her into a nearby white van.
She struggled free and ran away, while the van was seen driving away along Manchester Road. The man was white, with a shaved head and ear piercing.
