Teenager dies after collision
A teenage driver died in hospital two days after crashing his car in Gateshead, police have said.
The 19-year-old was badly injured when his Renault Clio struck a security fence in Stoneygate Lane, Felling.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Felling, for treatment but died. Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash.
