Bus station benefits travel
People in Washington, Tyne and Wear, are seeing a huge difference in their bus travel after the opening of the new Galleries bus station.
The station gives passengers bright, high-ceilinged glass waiting areas, up-to-the-minute travel information and easy connections between bus services.
Nexus paid £278,000 towards the new bus station, which cost more than £2m.
