City academy sponsor threat
A private company has said it is in talks with the Government about ending sponsorship of a Middlesbrough school.
Unity City Academy, opened in 2002, has been beset by problems, with low results and poor pupil behaviour.
If services consultancy Amey walks away it will be the first time an academy backer has withdrawn, and would create concerns about the school's future.
