Man remanded on murder charge
A man has appeared in court over the murder of a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed in the neck in south London.
Nilanthan Murddi died after receiving a single stab wound during an incident in Croydon on Saturday.
Steven Braithwaite, 30, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody at Sutton Magistrates' Court to appear at the Old Bailey in November.
